COURSE DESCRIPTION:
ESSENTIALS provides an intense and rigorous training
experience that 
focuses on the individual skills and habits that playmakers
possess. This course features specially designed activities
and competitions to eliminate ineffective play and instill
smart, efficient basketball. Players learn tools and
techniques that will give them a competitive advantage
against bigger and faster athletes, including how to control
a pesky defender, battle through contact, attack the lane,
see the court, and finish at the rim in traffic.
Essentials participants will also benefit from learning
how to train productively and lead authentically—by leading
oneself with excellence, discipline, and composure. Open to
male and female high school and college players.

designed for players who want to become a
dominant inside presence and floor general on the offensive and
defensive ends of the court. Players will learn to finish powerfully in
the paint, to control play in the interior, and to be a threat when
facing up away from the basket. Inside Presence will benefit guards,
forwards, and centers, as participants will learn how to capitalize on
and defend against mismatches, rebound effectively, and get to the free
throw line consistently.
This course is open to male and female high school and college
players. Mature incoming high school freshmen may attend, but no
exceptions are made for younger players

Course Description: THINK THE GAME
is PGC’s
flagship course and is the
original Dick DeVenzio/Dena Evans PGC course. While Essentials
focuses on individual play, Think The Game focuses on team play and
teaches players how to make the right reads on the court, how to
communicate effectively, and how to master all the “little things” that
stand out to a good coach. Players learn how to become a threat on every
offensive possession, beat pressure with poise, attack defenders in the
lane, and develop defensive pestitude. Participants will also learn how
to lead their teams to championships, how to look special in game
situations, and how to get noticed by coaches and scouts at the next

Course Description: THE SHOOTING LAB - In
The Shooting Lab, players learn how great
shooters think, shoot and practice. The course is designed to help
athletes develop a shooter’s mindset, build sound shooting techniques,
and train effectively ‘in the lab’ to work on their shot. Players will
also benefit from specific training in the variety of shots that great
scorers need in their toolbox. The Shooting Lab will benefit players who
are looking to increase their confidence in their shot, as well as their
shooting range, speed and accuracy
This course is open to male and female high school and college
players. Mature incoming high school freshmen may attend, but no

Course Description: COLLEGE AND PRO -
The College/Pro course features 
content drawn from
the entire PGC curriculum, and provides a rare
opportunity for elite-level players to go further in
mastering the subtleties of the game. Players
benefit from being immersed in a powerful,
competitive learning environment that is specially
designed to reinforce what it means to be a special
player on a championship-level team at the highest
levels of play. A maximum of 80 players will be
accepted for this course.
The College/Pro course is open to male
and female college players—of all
positions—who have completed at
least one (1) year of college basketball
at a four-year institution, as
well as to players who are pursuing or
already engaged in professional
basketball careers.

who want to apply PGC’s habits of play,

Camp Description: FUNDAMENTAL CAMP: This is
designed for the beginner basketball (K-3) as well as the elementary
level player (4-5) and the middle school player (6-8). Our camp
curriculum will focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game, while
also having FUN! Players will be grouped into teams and experience daily
fundamental skill breakdowns, full court drills, as well as both 3 on 3
and 5 on 5 games. Camp focuses include: Passing, Shooting, Defensive
Basics, Ball Handling, Screening, Full Court Drill Series, Rebounding,
and Speed and Agility Introduction. Grades: K-8 with Divisions: K-3,
4-5, 6-8.

Camp Description: SPECIALIZED GUARD/POST CAMP
-This is a specialized fundamental skill camp designed and intended for
the athlete that has the desire, commitment and talent to play at the
high school and collegiate level. This camp provides both on court and
classroom instruction. Players will go through both the post player and
guard curriculum. Post player curriculum includes Offensive Post Moves
and Technique, Post Defensive Basics, Post Player Transition Breakdowns,
Shooting Form Breakdown. Guard player curriculum includes Ball Handling,
Shooting Form Breakdown, Offensive Guard Moves and Technique, Point
Guard Review and Basics. This camp also includes a leadership classroom
series, full player written assessment and focus points, player video
breakdown and high level individual instruction. There are a limited
number of spots open for this camp. For Grades 4-8. Divisions
based on Talent and Position

Camp Description: SPECIALIZED OFFENSIVE SHOOTING and
1-on-1 CAMP - This camp will take players through a detailed
shooting curriculum focusing on player shooting form, mechanics and
range. Players will be introduced to 12 offensive moves from the
permanent pivot foot. Shooting instruction will progress from basic form
shooting to open floor drills with a variety of stops being introduced.
Three point shooting and foul shooting will be introduced and critiqued.
Camp focuses include: Advancement through Hoops Shooting Curriculum, 12
Offensive Moves from Permanent Pivot Foot, Jump Shot, Foul Shot, and the
3 Point Shot. Grades 4-8. Divisions based on Talent and Position.

These clinics are offered for all ages, starting at “Basketball for

the main focus of each clinic. Lead clinicians include former collegiate
