Kristen
Somogyi,
New Jersey's All-Time Leading Scholastic Basketball Scorer with 3899
career points, is the Camp Director. Somogyi is well know in New Jersey
for her distinguished career at Saint Peter's High School in New Brunswick
NJ where she set the state's scoring record. Kristen, who was
recognized as one of the country's top 100 players before entering her
first high school game, helped lead Virginia to the 1993 Atlantic Coast
Conference regular season and tournament championships and to the round of
eight in the NCAA Tournament. She returned home to New Jersey to play
point guard for Rutgers University where she had a successful career
scoring 1,1-9 points in two years. Somogyi also offers personal and

Mary Coyle Klinger,
Head Coach of the Rutgers Prep Girls Basketball Team, is also a Camp
Director. Klinger has
led Rutgers Prep to the Prep B State Championship
three times and was a member of the National Championship Team at Rutgers
University in 1982. She is the Director of NIKE All-American Camp
and is a member of the selection committee for WBCA and the McDonalds
All-American Team.
Patty Coyle
joins Somogyi and Klinger as Camp Director. Coyle is a veteran coach
and is presently Head Coach
of
the
New York Liberty. Prior to her stint in the WNBA she was the head coach at
Loyola College. She was a member of the
1982 National Championship Team at Rutgers University and is a member of
the Rutgers Basketball Hall of Fame. She also was assistant coach at
Miami, Rutgers and St. Josephs.
Camp Staff: Our camp staff
includes current and former college players (including current Rutgers
Women's basketball players) and high school coaches as well as guest
lectures by New York Liberty players. Our staff's enthusiasm, ability to
teach and individual attention to each camper enables us to reach all
campers full potential.
